ARIATONE Radio
Internet radio, exactly as the station sends it.
A player for internet radio, through AriaTone’s sound engine and visuals. Every stream reaches you untouched, in its best available quality. Bring your own stream links.
Free, with no sign-in: open it and listen. Your stations stay in this browser.
The sound
The station’s own samples, exactly as it sends them.
On a lossless station, Bit-exact glows green once the station’s own samples, 16-bit or 24-bit, reach your browser exactly as it sent them: nothing resampled, equalized or turned down on the way.
-
The EQ
An EQ you can see
Bass, mid and treble, or a seven-band parametric EQ drawn over the live spectrum, with listening profiles to start from. Auto headroom keeps any boost you make from clipping.
-
Bit-exact
A lock on the original
Bit-exact locks the EQ, Crossfeed and the volume out of the signal path, and that’s how AriaTone Radio starts. Unlocked, it lights up whenever nothing you’ve set changes the sound.
-
Crossfeed
For headphones
On headphones each ear hears only its own side. Crossfeed lets a little of each side reach the other ear at low frequencies, as it would from your speakers, so the music sits in front of you rather than inside your head.
-
Lighter streams
When your connection can’t keep up
AriaTone Radio plays only lossless and very high quality streams. When a station keeps cutting out, it offers a lighter stream of the same channel, from the same station, which needs much less of your connection.
The stations
A player, not a station.
Every note you hear belongs to the station playing it. AriaTone Radio plays the stations you choose, and suggests a few to start with: the developer’s preferred listening stations, all of them lossless and bit-exact, from people who care how they sound.

Bring your own
Any station, by its address.
Paste a station’s stream address and AriaTone Radio plays it first, as a check, and keeps it once it plays. FLAC streams play bit-exact, 16-bit or 24-bit; MP3, AAC and the rest play through your browser. A station’s name picks its colors, the way a word does in AriaTone Mix’s prompts.
While it plays
What’s playing, and how it reaches you.
-
What’s playing
The song, as it plays
Each song’s title and artist over the waveform, with its album, year and cover where they’re known, and a line saying how it reaches you: the station, the format, and whether it’s bit-exact.
-
The lock screen
Plays on with the screen locked
The station plays on with your phone’s screen off or locked, as a music app does, and your lock screen and media keys show the song, its artist and cover, and start and stop the station.
-
The visuals
A look for every mix
Each mix opens with a look of its own, in the station’s mood. Immersive view clears the controls away, leaving the visuals and the song.

Privacy
The music never goes through our server
No sign-in and no email. Your browser connects to each station itself, and your stations and sound settings stay with this browser, for you alone.

Made for good headphones or speakers.
A phone speaker can’t play the deep bass, the stereo width or the detail in your stations. In your browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer: add it to your home screen and it opens full screen.
